Habitat/Range: | • abundant along some roadsides and the CN rail lines and appears to be spreading quite rapidly in the region. • may be spreading off the roads and rail lines onto adjacent rangeland |
• perennial herb that grows 1 to 2 m tall
• stems are numerous, erect to ascending, smooth
• leaves alternate, lower leaves 3 times compound, sharply double toothed and pointed, upper leaves smaller and less compounded, green and usually smooth above, hairy and paler below
• flowers are found on a large, elongated, terminal panicle as tiny white, short-stalked flowers
