Description

• perennial herb that grows 0.1-0.8m tall • stems are erect, branched, and rough hairy • leaves are toothed, or shallowly lobed to entire, and are hairy above and below; lower leaves are long stalked and become unstalked with increasing plant height • flowers are disk shaped, purple, and found solitarily at the end of upper branches
