Description

• biennial herb that grows 0.6-1.0m tall • unbranched stem covered in stiff hairs; appears flecked due swollen red or black bases of the hairs • leaves narrow, elliptical and covered in stiff hairs; leaf size decreases with plant height • flowers are bright blue and funnel shaped.; blooms in June-July
