The rebate can be 50% up to a maximum of $750, based on an approved contractor's work (excluding travel). The fund is limited and adminstered on a first-come, first-served basis. Land Owner Invasive Plant Removal Rebate (aka Weed Removal Rebate)

Rural landowners incurring a cost to control invasive weeds on their private land may be eligible for up to a 50% reimbursement (maximum $750) of the contractor costs. The fund is limited. Applications are assessed on first-come, first-served basis.

Community Invasive Plant Pull Application (aka Community Weed Pull)

Raise money for your community group and do something good for the environment at the same time! Your community group, or a non-profit group you designate, can earn up to $250 for pulling invasive plants in a sensitive area.

The Northwest Invasive Plant Council Contractor Guide (the Guide) provides a succinct description of the role of an NWIPC Invasive Plant Management Area (IPMA) Contractor and is a reference for field crews. While each contractor will conduct day-to-day operations as they see fit, this guide outlines the procedures required to ensure consistency across the NWIPC operating area. Use of this guide ensures compliance with guidelines set out by the NWIPC and provincial regulatory agencies.
