NWIPC Booth at Smithers Genealogical Society Plant Sale

NWIPC Communications Coordinator Steven Kiiskila manning a display of invasive plants at the annual Bulkley Valley Genealogical Society Perennial Plant Sale in Smithers May 23rd. There was keen interest from local gardening enthusiasts, which is such a benefit to invasive plant management, as gardeners are often the type of people aware of all the plants in their environment, and thus use the 1-866-44WEEDS hotline to report new plants that they haven't seen before. Thanks to all those who do their part for invasive plant management in northern BC. We couldn't do it without you!
