Description

• perennial herb that grows 0.4 to 1.2 m tall
• stem is erect, solitary, and unbranched
• basal leaves are lance shaped with a rounded base; stalks are long, pimply, and finely hairy; stem leaves are alternate, reduced upwards becoming short stalked
• flowers greenish; inflorescence of numerous flowers in a large, dense, green, elongate panicle
